first. merry christmas. 6 music is a good radio station. recently they had a radio takeover slot with a pretty great trio. brothers aaron and bryce dessner from the national. and richard reed parry from arcade fire. very nice. although to be fair some of their song choices were slightly dubious. the what seemed to be about an 8 minute long folk song particularly bored me. however they did also play two tracks they recorded with sufjan stevens. he makes a christmas album for his friends every year. because he is a nice guy. and because he loves jesus. which leads me to my tenuous link to this song. jesus etc. by the wonderful wilco. its not a christmas song. but it is good. and it has the birthday boys name in it.
